THE GIN JOINT – COCKTAIL RECIPE

With the warm summer months in mind, our expert bartenders have the perfect remedy to cool off – The Gin Joint. Long and tasty, fresh crushed ginger is blended with Tanqueray No.10 gin, apple liqueur and lemon juice and is topped with lemonade for an extra fizz. Tempted? INGREDIENTS

  • Thumb size piece of fresh ginger
  • 25 ml of cloudy apple juice
  • 25 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 10 ml gomme syrup or sugar syrup
  • 10 ml Briottet Manzana Verde
  • 10 ml of King’s Ginger liqueur
  • 10 ml of Briottet Manzana Verde
  • 50 ml of Tanqueray No.10 Gin
  • 200 ml Fever Tree lemonade
  • Garnish: finely sliced green apple

METHOD

  • Crush the fresh ginger with a pestle in a cocktail shaker
  • Add the cloudy apple juice, lemon juice and gomme syrup or sugar syrup
  • Add the Tanqueray No.10 Gin, King’s Ginger and the Briottet Manzana Verde
  • Shake and strain into chilled glass with ice cubes
  • Finish with the lemonade and garnish with finely sliced apple
  • Enjoy!
